The uplift in the UK property market Pushes Brits to Buy in Spain
Brits are now turning their attention to the Spanish
property market before the property recovery revival gains momentum.
In the first six months of 2015 19.8% of all foreign
property purchases in Spain were made by British people, according to the
Colegio de Registradores – Spain’s land registry.
Many aspects are drawing British buyers to Spain from the
year round warmer climate to the types of properties on offer and now sky-high
house prices in the UK are pushing more and more Brits to consider buying a
property in Spain.
The average house price in London is £513,000, according to
the UK’s Office of National statistics, 40% above peak prices before the
financial crisis struck.
