Look no further than the investment bank Blackstone Group, known for their bold and sometimes controversial urban development endeavours in Spain. They've made waves with audacious moves, such as snatching up social housing from the clutches of Madrid city council. With their backing, the Guadalmina is poised to embrace a new era of grandeur.

Mayor Múñoz wasted no time in revealing the plans. The construction work will commence without delay, with an expected completion period of one and a half years. Oh, the anticipation! This prestigious establishment joins the ranks of seven other fortunate hotels in Marbella that have enjoyed the benefits of the modernization and improvement decree. Amongst the lucky recipients are the esteemed Lima, the heavenly Estrella del Mar, the charming Los Monteros, the resilient El Fuerte, the enchanting Pinomar, the regal San Cristóbal, and the illustrious Meliá Don Pepe. It's a veritable feast for the senses, as Marbella becomes a playground for rejuvenation and refinement.
